Success at AMAC National Championships

Anthony has continued his amazing year for competition at the 2023 AMAC Australian Championships held at Olympic Park, Sydney over December 9-10. He made it to the finals of three events on Sunday which were the beginners kata, beginners Freestyle sparring and the open men’s Points Contact. He came fourth in the kata and second in Freestyle sparring and the Points Contact where he fought against blackbelts and men much bigger than he is. This is as great achievement for him and reflect well on our club/dojo. He does however know how important it is to be humble and how tournaments are only part of the karate journey. In encourage any students who have an interest in competing to give it a go next year in March at Nerang. If you are not so keen to compete, think about coming up to watch and support our students who compete.
